While working within a business unit of a large media company, Mike McNamara began mentoring a talented TV news correspondent and producer that was faced with several career challenges ahead. Over the next few years, Mike was exposed to the day-today operations of the broadcast TV news business, an industry which he quickly learned was headed for extreme channel disruption and eventually, contraction and consolidation.
In June 2016, Mike launched TalentBlvd believing that talent management practices were changing forever. Today the TalentBlvd community focuses on helping multimedia journalists develop timeless lifetime skill sets and thrive amid industry chaos. The goal is to facilitate a community of personalized services that allows media companies and talent to reach each other at a fraction of the cost of traditional industry consultants, recruiters, and agents
