Of course, these features work best when there’s clear communication between Talent and Hiring Managers/Recruiters, as well as between Talent. I would like to encourage Talent to stay attentive of their inbox since Recruiters have constantly mentioned how difficult it can be to get a hold of Talent via email.

Here’s a quick rundown on how to use our ‘News’ feed page to leverage your TalentBlvd membership …

Street Talk

This is a traditional blog format for sharing industry news. Any Premium member can post and content is available to be viewed by the general public. It can also be linked to social media outlets such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. 

Each post requires an image, headline, content, and a short description. We’ll cover topics involving Career Tips, Industry Updates, Company News and TalentBlvd News.

The best posts use a simple 3 piece format.  

1. What? 
2. So What? 
3. Now What?

Hot Jobs

All tier members can access and apply for Hot Jobs. Through this feature, News Directors, Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Managers will post hard-to-fill positions and roles that need immediate hiring. Any Premium Hiring Manager can post and content is available to be viewed by the general public.It can also be linked to social media outlets: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. Each post requires an image, headline, content, and a short description.

TalentBlvd, Mike McNamara and Team, will share, repost and retweet content to reach our 32k industry followers.

Use this simple format for a greater reach:

1. Station Image/Logo 
2. Catchy Headline with Job Title/Location
3. Body: Job Description with Link to Application
4. Short Description

Reel News

This section allows for embedded video links from Vimeo or YouTube. Reel News is meant for promoting new content, specifically new demo reels and recent video clips that highlight best in class work. Any Premium Talent member can post and content is available to be viewed by the general public. It can also be linked to social media outlets such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter. Each post requires an image, headline, content, and a short description.

Use this simple format:

1. Strong Image: Screenshot or Headshot
2. Text Describing Objective: ie, "review my new reel, looking for feedback"
3. Embedded Video Content

Favorites Feature for Hiring Profressionals

And last but not least, Recruiters and Agents who have signed up as Premium Members are able to tag talent profiles as a “Favorite” so they may contact them at a more convenient time. Favoriting talent also allows tracking their career progress, or waiting for their contract expiration to align with anticipated hiring needs.
